Your hosts Ray and Salme Atherinos own and manage the Gulf Country Caravan Park in Karumba Queensland. They are well known locally and with twenty years in the tourist industry in the Gulf they have a wealth of informaton about the region and are happy to share!
The park was developed during the early years when the fishing industry started in Karumba.
The main reason most people come to Karumba is for the fishing & sightseeing. We have fabulous sunsets. The fishing off the beach and near the boat ramps is good. Click here for more information
